How is the English economy faring compared to the American economy?
Filed Under Economics | 2 Comments
I’m aware that the global economy is doing quite poorly. I’m just curious as to whether England is doing any better or worse than the American economy.

What solutions does Obama have for the US Economy that will actually work?
Filed Under Economics | 3 Comments
Our economy tanked because there was too much easy money and easy credit available. So far the solutions are “more easy money and easy credit”.
Does Obama have any proposals that will actually benefit the US economy long-term?
Note: This question is about Obama. Not Bush. Not McCain.

What do you think about the economy if suppose it is always good and never bad?
Filed Under Economics | 3 Comments
I know that the economy goes good the one day and bad several years later. The economy is bad like it is right now.
What’s your opinion about an economy that is always good and never bad? I think an that kind of economy is wonderful and considered I would be happy. I considered this a blessing.

What happened to the economy as the number one issue?
Filed Under Elections | Comments Off
I have read and heard repeatedly that, across all demographics, the economy was the number one issue with voters at the onset of this primary election. Yet, all the remaining candidates are talking about everything BUT the economy. Also, most of the topics in this section relate to candidates positions or style OTHER THAN THE ECONOMY. Is the economy still issue number one with voters?

How does the economy work and how does our economy (US) effect foreign economies?

As the title says. In the simplest form, how does the US economy work.
Also, how does our economy effect foreign economies? (How does out financial crash cause other economies to follow suit?)

What allows the US economy to stay afloat, regarding its mountain of debt?
Filed Under Economics | Comments Off
I am curious as to what final leg(s) we are left standing on? Obviously our economy can be roughly translated as “debt”. As our ability to borrow dwindles, so goes our economy.
Obviously our economy was way overheated in the late 90’s. So now we are contracting; I saw an article comparing Japan of the late 80’s to our economy at its peak, and thought it’s not coincidental that roughly the same thing is happening in the US.
Of course our total outstanding national debt sits around $54-55 trillion(!) range.
How can we possibly function in this capacity?

How has the bad economy affected your spending habits?
Filed Under Personal Finance | Comments Off
I am working on an article for a personal finance newsletter. I was wondering what real people are doing to brave the economy. Do you have any money-saving tips that may help other people. I’d prefer if your Yahoo preferences are set up to accept email. I may want to contact you for more information if i choose to use your answer. I’d appreciate your help. Thanks.
